WEEK 2



I think my friends have a lot of qualities but what I specially admire it’s their loyalty and the way they always support me when something is wrong. Apart from that, I love their sense of humour because they always make me laugh.
















Further destinations: Scotland, China, Norway, Marrakech, Norway, Poland, Thailand, Ireland, Germany
I would visit these places because I find them truly interesting and I would love to get to know the different cultures, their people, their way of life, etc. In addition, I am interested in visiting all the monuments and the most important locations.

If I had enough money, I would travel around the world and visit all places I mentioned before. I also would like to live in a city out of Spain, like in London or elsewhere around Europe. Besides, having enough money means not having the duty to work everyday so I can be more focused on personal goals without distractions, like writing a book, paint a piece of art, etc.
Apart from these personal interests, I would like to give part of the money to my parents, so they can live in a more comfortable way.

WEEK 20: RAVE REVIEWS (Celia Mantilla Fernández)

First of all, here is the link of the review I´m gonna comment on:  https://geeks.media/classic-review-the-picture-of-dorian-gray To begin with, the first part of the review should include a eye-catching title, but it does not include it. The first two paragraphs could be mix into onebut it is a good introduction. Then we have a paragraph with further information. And then four paragraphs after that where the writer gives a detail summary of what is being reviewed. Finally we have the final paragraph where the writer states a good conclusion which includes some recommendations. This week I´ve tried to improve my English by watching some films in English.

WEEK 27: COMPLAINING (Pilar Victoria Martínez)

Some other phrasal verbs are: beat down, get up, give away, back into, set about, be away, count down, etc. By searching of the internet, I have found a complaint letter in which many expressions to complain appears: Dear Sir/Madam:  I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction  at the disgraceful treatment I received at the Walford Branco of Stimpson’s Electronics yesterday afternoon. Firstly, the product I was given  was not the model I had asked for . The new X-401 calculator was demonstrated to me by the sales assistant, and I agreed to buy it. However, on unpacking my purchase, I saw that I had been given the smaller X-201 model instead. Furthermore, this calculator was much cheaper than the model I requested and paid for. It did not have many of the features I needed and was much more basic than the one I was shown to begin with.
