Dear John, I hope you are well, I am sorry I haven't written for such a long time. How is it going? I am writing to see if you could help me out. Lately, I've been practising my English by checking out new series on Netflix and watching them in the original version. Sadly, my laptop has just broken down and I cannot watch my series. I am wondering if you could tell me any more ways to improve my English. For example, maybe I could borrow some books of my interest from the library. Reading is as much important as listening, so reading English books or comics could sort my problem out. I can't wait to hear from you. I am looking forward to seeing you again. First of all, I would like to say that every job has its own issues and all of them take an important role in our society. In my case, my worst job would be becoming a singer. Most people might think this is a job that will provide you with a huge amount of money and fame. However, I reckon that becoming a singer involves a lot of pressure: one day you could be earning thousands thanks to your hits and the other you could be booed by your public, lose your money and everything you had achieved. In addition, it would be very hard for me because I just can't sing, I sound completely horrible. I would also find it difficult to deal with crowds and negative comments of my viewers. Secondly, I've asked my grandmother how were her job conditions when she worked. She has told me she started working when she was 14 in a sewing academy.
