WEEK 15: THAT´S ALL FOLKS... First of all, when I heard that we had to do a blog I just though it would be boring because of the experience that we had in our first course. However, I think the exercises were pretty pleasant and entertaining and I loved the fact that we had to give our opinion in almost every part of the exercise so that we didn´t get tired of it. Moreover, the best part was adding pictures because the topics of the exercises were very original and enjoyable. I don´t have any particular criticism to make. Thank you for making it funnier. Finally, I am going to say that this week I have been practising my English by studying a lot for the final exams!!!!!!! I hope everying works out for us three!

It is simple to get for everyone and it allows for understanding how a colour can make you feel in a particular way, especially depending on how they are used (in art or in advertisement, for example). The last film that I´ve seen is called "High strung" a 2016 American drama film where our main character is Ruby, a classical ballet dancer who gets a scholarship into the Manhattan Conservatory of the Arts. While in the city she meets a young violinist named Johnnie who plays in the subway. After Johnnie´s violin is stolen they start getting to know each other and they end up falling in love while practising for a competition.  In my opinion, this film has a lot of clichés but if you just want to have a good time and take your mind off of things it´s your kind of film.  I would also like to recommend some my favourites films, books and shows. WEEK 12: THE FASHION SHOW https://youtu.be/q438-QXTlGs (until minute six) The interview started when the interviewer told Billie Eilish that everyone wanted to know more about her. So, the interviewer asked her how was it like to be raised in Los Angeles. Billie´s response was that she hated the weather in there and that she had homeschool and everything she had ever learnt was all of her interest and nothing by force. After this, the interviewer asked Billie how did she know how to write a song. She said she had to write her feelings down so that she would feel better. Then the interviewer suggested to talk about Billie´s music. Billie pointed out that she had just released her first album "Don't smile at me". After searching on the internet for a quite long time I finally found this example of a report: 24 October 2014 On 22/ 10/2014, a colorful and memorable Cultural Fest was organized in our school. This event was whole day long and was held in the auditorium of our school. In this mega event, many schools from our city took part. The grand show commenced by the arrival of various teams from schools. Then the Chief Guest, the District Collector ,of our District, arrived with his wife. There was a colourful welcome followed by lighting of the lamp. It was accompanied by a melodious Saraswati Vandana , hailing the goddess of knowledge and wisdom. It was followed by a welcome speech given by the Principal of our school. Then there was bouquet presentation to the invited guests and the grand event began.                                            WEEK 9: URBAN LIVING In this picture we can see the port of Cartagena.  Cartagena is the place where I currently live and where I have spent all my life. However, I am not sure if I would still live in there when I get older.  When I am 50 I believe this port will be pretty much the same but it will have a few changes. For instance, I think it might change its form due to the addition of some buildings or even factories that would damage our beautiful scenery and ocean life. ODD INVENTIONS UMBRELLA FOR DOGS Taking your dog out for a walk is a tedious task when there is rainy weather. Nevertheless, this curious invention will make your life easier: an umbrella for dogs! This umbrella is designed especially for them, so they should avoid getting wet during the walk. Its structure is almost like the one of a typical umbrella, with the slight difference that the part of the tarpaulin is turned upside down, so the human could hold it just over the dog. The lead is placed inside the pole because is still important that the dog remains tied up, and, this way, the owner still have one hand free for her own umbrella. This invention could be very useful if it is used in the right way, but I think it may be simpler if we just provided the dog with a raincoat and his normal lead.
