WEEK 21: TELLING THE TRUTH (Celia Mantilla Fernández)




Also if we observe the facial expressions we can see how some people change their facial coloration or flare their nostrils, bite their lips, blink rapidly...

If we focus on tone and cadence we will notice that they sometimes change and sentence structures can become more complex as the liar´s brain works on overdrive to keep up with the lie.

Finally, keep track of when they stop talking about themselves, this is because people that are lying tend to remove themselves from their story and start directing the focus on other people.



  • In relation to the film "Liar, liar" I believe that saying always the truth can be really bad and sometimes white lies are necessary in order to avoid hurting other people. 



  • This week I practised my English by helping my little brother with his English homework.
