WEEK 22: NARRATIVE ESSAY WRITING (Pilar Victoria Martínez)
These are two links I
found in which narrative essays are explained:
One of the
principal characteristics is that it must catch the reader’s attention. It is
an essay that tells a story and it requires the author to call upon personal
experiences that relate to the topic and clearly convey the reader what
happened, how it happened and why the event was meaningful and relevant. A
narrative essay includes an introduction, the plot, the relevant character
profiles, the setting, the climax and the conclusion.
This type of essay differs from the discursive essay in that the first one tells a story that
can be either fictional or real-life and the author can write what he wants
related with the topic, while the second one informs about an idea, are always
based on real things and the author needs to prove his point and support it by
a list of powerful arguments.
This week, in order to
improve my English, I started listening a new artist called Billie Eilish.
