WEEK 26: ESSAY WRITING (Pilar Victoria Martínez)

The major difficulties I find when writing a essay could be how to organise  and adapt the information I want to give to the type of essay and the time I have.

This week, in order to improve my English I finished reading a book called "A Skinful of Shadows"

Sadly, we get to the end of this adventure. I had enjoyed doing some of the exercises because I found them curious and original. So, it gave me a better understanding of the subject Lengua Inglesa IV. I think this is a good way to learn more about English because the exercises are entertaing and light. Kind Regards, Pilar.

WEEK 20: RAVE REVIEWS (Pilar Victoria Martínez)

This is a review I found on the Netflix animated series “Hilda”: https://www.polygon.com/2018/9/26/17905808/netflix-hilda-best-animated-series-kids-right-now In the first and second paragraph, the author talks a little about the origins and mixes his personal opinion with facts about the style of the series. In the 3 rd and 4 th paragraphs, he talks about his daughter and personal life. Then, the author explains the plot of the series, the animation and the principal characters, opening the way for some paragraphs on the first two episodes which contains a lot of spoilers. Then, he compares Hilda with other cartoons and to finalize, made an analysis on its approach. This week, in order to improve my English I started reading “A Skinful of Shadows” for a literature project.
